TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Times has updated its description of James Judge, the Republican Nominee for U.S. Congress in Florida’s 14th Congressional District, after Judge issued a stark rebuke of local news media coverage during a Tuesday press conference.

“I have to give credit where credit is due, and I am glad to see that the Tampa Bay Times has updated its voter guide with a biography of me, instead of listing only two things that happened on the campaign trail,” said Judge. “The local media’s role in keeping the public properly informed is absolutely critical, especially when it comes to something as serious as American elections.”

The Republican nominee for Florida’s 14th Congressional District has called on his Democrat opponent to debate him since Sept. 12.

TAMPA, Fla. – Today marks the 37th day that Democrat incumbent Kathy Castor has refused to debate James Judge, the Republican nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida’s 14th Congressional District, the Judge campaign said in news release Wednesday.

According to sources inside Tampa Bay area media outlets, Castor and her communications director, Rikki Miller, have also refused to respond to requests from the media for information about a potential debate.

A prominent local trade organization has endorsed James Judge for U.S. Congress in Florida’s 14th Congressional District.  

TAMPA, Fla. – The Associated Builders and Contractors Florida Gulf Coast has endorsed James Judge, the Republican nominee for Congress in Florida’s 14th Congressional District, the Judge campaign announced in a news release on Wednesday.

A straw poll conducted by a Tampa Bay area-based chamber of commerce shows the Republican nominee, James Judge, winning November’s general election against incumbent Democrat, Rep. Kathy Castor.

TAMPA, Fla. – A new straw poll shows Republican underdog James Judge defeating incumbent Democrat Rep. Kathy Castor by a margin of five points in the race for Florida’s 14th Congressional District.

According to the poll, conducted by the Riverview Chamber of Commerce, Judge leads Castor by a margin of 52.63 percent to 47.37 percent.
