The Tampa Bay area’s flagship newspaper made the changes after Judge questioned its integrity during a Tuesday news conference.

TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Times has updated its description of James Judge, the Republican Nominee for U.S. Congress in Florida’s 14^th Congressional District, after Judge issued a stark rebuke of local news media coverage during a Tuesday press conference.

“I have to give credit where credit is due, and I am glad to see that the Tampa Bay Times has updated its voter guide with a biography of me, instead of listing only two things that happened on the campaign trail,” said Judge. “The local media’s role in keeping the public properly informed is absolutely critical, especially when it comes to something as serious as American elections.”

The Republican nominee for Florida’s 14^th Congressional District has called on his Democrat opponent to debate him since Sept. 12.

TAMPA, Fla. – Today marks the 37^th day that Democrat incumbent Kathy Castor has refused to debate James Judge, the Republican nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida’s 14^th Congressional District, the Judge campaign said in news release Wednesday.

According to sources inside Tampa Bay area media outlets, Castor and her communications director, Rikki Miller, have also refused to respond to requests from the media for information about a potential debate.

A prominent local trade organization has endorsed James Judge for U.S. Congress in Florida’s 14^th Congressional District.  

TAMPA, Fla. – The Associated Builders and Contractors Florida Gulf Coast has endorsed James Judge, the Republican nominee for Congress in Florida’s 14^th Congressional District, the Judge campaign announced in a news release on Wednesday.

“Coming from a construction family, we know that James Judge is the right voice for builders, contractors, and American workers as a whole,” said Steve Cona, President and CEO of Associated Builders and Contractors Florida Gulf Coast. “Like our organization, James believes in free enterprise and market competition, which leads to the highest quality products being bought and sold across all sectors. He doesn’t believe that the government should be meddling in the private sector, let alone handing out contracts based on anything other than merit. He has ABC’s full backing, and we’re looking forward to continuing to work with him when he is elected on November 8.”

The Republican nominee in Florida’s 14^th Congressional District has received another in a long line of law enforcement endorsements.

TAMPA, Fla. – The Republican nominee for Congress in Florida’s 14^th Congressional District Monday announced that he has received the endorsement of former Pinellas County Sheriff Jim Coats.

“I’m thrilled to endorse James Judge for Congress in Florida’s 14^th Congressional District,” said Coats. “Over the course of his campaign, James has demonstrated his unwavering commitment and support for law enforcement. He has already been endorsed by several prominent law enforcement figures, and I am proud to add my name to that list.

A straw poll conducted by a Tampa Bay area-based chamber of commerce shows the Republican nominee, James Judge, winning November’s general election against incumbent Democrat, Rep. Kathy Castor.

TAMPA, Fla. – A new straw poll shows Republican underdog James Judge defeating incumbent Democrat Rep. Kathy Castor by a margin of five points in the race for Florida’s 14^th Congressional District.

According to the poll, conducted by the Riverview Chamber of Commerce, Judge leads Castor by a margin of 52.63 percent to 47.37 percent.

The incumbent Democrat in Florida’s 14^th Congressional District agreed to debate Republican challenger James Judge “anytime.”

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The incumbent Democrat in Florida’s 14^th Congressional District agreed at a Wednesday forum for the Historic Kenwood neighborhood hosted by Metro Inclusive Health in St. Petersburg to debate James Judge in the future.

Rep. Kathy Castor told Judge’s campaign manager that she would be happy to debate Judge “anytime,” and said to call her office to schedule the event.

“The Citizen Review Board is simply a terrible idea,” said James Judge. “It paves the way for the intrusion of privacy into the lives of Tampa’s residents. We can’t give an unelected board the broad power to investigate whatever it wants, with parameters that remain uncertain, and our men and women in law enforcement shouldn’t be subject to harassment by a deputized group of anti-police radicals.”
