A poll conducted in Florida’s 14th Congressional District shows the Republican nominee, James Judge, handily defeating incumbent Democrat Rep. Kathy Castor. Judge was recently endorsed by law enforcement statewide, while Castor has received zero endorsements from law enforcement this election.
TAMPA, Fla. – In a survey conducted by James Judge’s campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida’s 14th Congressional District, the vast majority of respondents said they plan to vote for Judge in the upcoming Nov. 8 election.
Of those surveyed, 72 percent said they plan to vote for Judge on election day. Only 20 percent said they will vote for Castor, while eight percent said they will vote for someone else.
Further, 81 percent of respondents said they feel like America is headed in the wrong direction under Democrat leadership. Only 18 percent said they feel like the country is heading in the right direction, while less than one percent said they had no opinion.

“As election day draws closer, I am becoming more and more confident that we are going to defeat Kathy Castor,” said Judge. “Americans are clearly unhappy with the current leadership in Washington, including President Biden, Nancy Pelosi and my opponent. They are tired of runaway inflation, massive debt, unimpeded violent crime and wide-open borders.”
The internal polling mirrored external polls, showing that the economy is still the number one issue for Americans in the upcoming election cycle.
Additionally, 87 percent of those surveyed do not believe they get a good value for their tax dollars. In another question, 92 percent of respondents said the government should reign in spending. When asked if the federal government’s size should be reduced, 77 percent of respondents said the federal government should be smaller.
“Americans are worried about being able to pay their bills,” said Judge. “Food costs more, gas costs more – everything costs more than it did before the Democrats took over. The situation we find ourselves in is entirely unnecessary, and our leaders are putting band-aids on the problem. The only reason gas prices aren’t still at all-time highs is because Joe Biden has drained our Strategic Petroleum Reserve. The Democrats are recklessly playing politics with people’s lives.”
Judge squares off with Kathy Castor in the Nov. 8 general election.

In addition to dominating the internal poll, Judge recently won a straw poll conducted by the Riverview Chamber of Commerce by a margin of four points over his opponent.
The survey was conducted among 107 residents of the Tampa Bay area.
Judge has been endorsed by several prominent figures and organizations.
